This incident happened in Srisailam, Nandyal district in the early hours on August 31.
Horrifying visuals showed the fierce flames burning at the L block of Lalithambika shopping complex. The flames engulfed the whole area, burning to ashes everything in its wake. A crowd had gathered at a distance as fire fighters attempted to tame the flames. According to a report, around 15 shops were burnt in the fire. The fire brigade officials rushed to the spot after receiving information about this incident.
It has been learnt that the flames broke out due to a short circuit.
