Massive fire at KFS warehouse in northern India, goods worth crores destroyed

A devastating fire broke out in a company’s warehouse in northern India’s Haryana, destroying gym equipment worth crores. The fire, which is believed to have been caused by a short circuit, erupted between 3 and 4 AM.

The incident took place in the KFS company’s warehouse located on Ballabgarh Mohna Road in Faridabad District on May 27.

Visuals showed a massive fire was raging in a factory, with fierce flames producing thick black smoke that was spreading rapidly. A crowd had gathered nearby, causing a traffic jam in the area.

In the early hours of the morning, workers at the warehouse noticed the fire and immediately contacted the police control room by dialing 112. Responding swiftly, the police arrived on the scene and alerted the fire department. Several fire engines were dispatched, and firefighters managed to control the blaze after a strenuous effort.

The intense heat not only consumed the gym equipment stored in the warehouse but also obliterated the entire structure, which was made of corrugated sheets. Vinod Bhati, the warehouse owner, a former Sarpanch and BJP leader, estimated the losses to be around 2.5 crore rupees. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported in this incident.

Initial investigations suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the fire, though further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause.
