Massive explosion takes place at petrol pump in southern India
by Surya PrakashA massive explosion occurred at a petrol pump in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.
This happened on the Tossipudi Balabhadrapuram main road in East Godavari district of the state on July 7.
Visuals showed scenes after the explosion had taken place. A portion of the petrol pump was in tatters with one of its doors messed up and broken due to the impact of this explosion. The explosion left rubble and the remains of other items scattered all over the area with smoke still emanating from some parts. The fire brigade officials reached the spot and put out the flames in the areas still burning after the blast. An area just next to the petrol pump seemed to have suffered the worst in this explosion.
Also, a.significant crowd had gathered at the spot of the accident. According to a report, there is a godown of explosives near the petrol pump.
