The number of people was overwhelming, creating a rush as everyone raced to be the first to get their hands on the new iPhone. At another location, people were seen patiently standing in long lines outside the mall, waiting to enter the store. The excitement was palpable as they slowly made their way inside to purchase the eagerly awaited Apple phone.
The much-awaited sale of Apple’s iPhone 16 series kicked off today, September 20, in India, attracting large crowds to Apple Stores in Mumbai and Delhi. Videos circulating on social media captured the enthusiasm, with fans rushing toward the stores to purchase the latest models. In Mumbai, the crowd at the BKC Apple store—India’s first—was seen queuing up early in the morning, with many people traveling from different cities to be part of the launch.
One such customer, Akshay, traveled from Surat, Gujarat, arriving at the store at 6am to get his hands on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. “I came at 6 am. I purchased the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I liked iOS 18, and the zoom camera quality has become better now,” said Akshay. Similar scenes were reported from the Saket Apple store in Delhi, where excited customers formed long queues ahead of the store’s opening.
The iPhone 16 lineup, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, is now available for purchase in nearly 60 countries, including India, South Korea, China, and Australia.
