Massive 12-foot python causes panic in central India village, later relocated to forest
In a terrifying incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a 12-foot-long python caused chaos after emerging in the village.
The incident took place in Kakardha village of Joura region of Morena district on September 24.
Visuals showed the forest department’s rescue team pressing the python’s mouth with a wooden stick and tying it with a rope. After securing the python, they dragged it to the middle of a field before preparing it for transport back to the forest. Hundreds of villagers gathered, watching in awe as the team completed the operation.
According to reports, the villagers were horrified upon seeing the massive python, especially noticing its swollen belly, leading them to believe it had swallowed a jackal. The forest department was alerted by Joura police station, who called Deputy Ranger Vinod Upadhyay and his team to the site. Though a JCB machine was summoned, the rescue was completed before it arrived. The forest department acknowledged the crucial help of the villagers in the successful rescue.
