Massive 11 feet king cobra rescued from home in eastern India

In a remarkable rescue operation in eastern India’s Odisha, an 11-foot-long King Cobra was safely rescued from a house.

The incident took place at Bangra village in Mayurbhanj district on September 2.

Visuals showed the rescuers skillfully using ropes and other techniques to safely capture the enormous snake while ensuring the safety of the surrounding residents. The operation was carefully conducted, with both the snake and the villagers remaining unharmed throughout.

According to reports, the venomous snake was later released into the Dukra wildlife range within the district on Tuesday morning. Srikanta Mohanty, the Pithabata Range officer under the Baripada forest division, stated, “Yesterday at around 6:30 pm, we received information about a King Cobra entering a house in Bangra village. Upon receiving the information, we immediately dispatched our team along with experienced snake rescuers to the site.”
