Marijuana seized in southern India: 87.29 kg (192.44lb) confiscated by police

In southern India’s Andhra Pradesh, Saluru Rural Police seized 87.29 kg of ganja during an operation near Baaguvalasa in Saluru Mandal.
The incident took place in Parvathipuram Manyam District on August 8.
Visuals showed the seized boxes and packages of marijuana and officials gave interviews about how they caught it.
According to reports, acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a Bolero vehicle transporting the marijuana from the Andhra-Odisha border to West Bengal. The driver, Baldhar Singh, was arrested, and authorities also seized a cell phone and ₹15,000 (USD 178.73) in cash. During questioning, it was revealed that another suspect was involved, and a police team had been formed to apprehend the second accused.
