Man Vs Wild: Elephant rampage sparks panic in Indian village

The incident unfolded near Nilakottai town in Dindigul district on November 22.
Visuals showed the chaotic scene as the massive elephant overturned a car, damaging its doors and attempting to lift it with its trunk. Alarmed by the destruction, villagers tried to scare the elephant away by firing bullets into the air, eventually causing the creature to retreat to another area.
According to reports, while the elephant caused significant damage to the car, no injuries were reported on either side. However, the frequent sightings of elephants in the region have left residents in a state of distress. Authorities are investigating the situation to ensure the safety of both wildlife and villagers, aiming to prevent such incidents in the future.
