In a remarkable display of resourcefulness during northern India’s Rajasthan monsoon, a man was seen using a police barricade as a makeshift vehicle to navigate through a flooded area, capturing attention online for his unconventional mode of transportation.

 

The incident took place at Bikaner and the video went viral on July 6.

Visuals showed on a street where water flows violently, a man has ingeniously fashioned police barricades into a makeshift boat. He navigates comfortably atop it through the torrential waters, drawing the fixed gaze of onlookers mesmerized by his unusual mode of transport.

 

In Rajasthan today, rainfall is expected in the eastern and western regions. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for Jaipur, Kota, Jhalawar, Ajmer, Dausa, and Alwar in eastern Rajasthan, and Jaisalmer, Sikar, Churu, Hanumangarh, and Nagaur in western Rajasthan. In the capital city Jaipur, intermittent rainfall continued from Sunday evening until Monday morning in some areas. According to the weather department, there is a possibility of light rain in the eastern and western regions of the state on Monday.
