Man protests defective electric scooter with viral song and funeral parade in central India

In a dramatic and humorous protest against a malfunctioning electric scooter, an Indian man has gone viral in central India’s Chhattisgarh.

The incident took place in Durg district on August 19.

Visuals showed a man singing a modified version of a popular Bollywood song, “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,” expressing his frustration with the scooter and the company’s after-sales service.

According to reports, the man, identified as Sagar Singh, took his red OLA electric scooter to the company’s showroom in a cart, parodying a funeral procession.

Singh’s creative protest attracted a crowd outside the OLA showroom as he pretended to hold a funeral for the scooter, which he claimed had been plagued by persistent issues and inadequate support from the company. His performance and the unconventional approach to the complaint captivated onlookers.
