Man collides with E-rickshaw in middle of road in northern India
In a devastating incident, a young man lost his life in a collision with an e-rickshaw in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place on the newly constructed Yamuna Bridge in Prayagraj on April 27.
Visuals showed the e-rickshaw abruptly veering in the opposite direction towards the city, causing a collision with Akash’s bike traveling in the direction of Naini. The impact of the collision sent Akash tumbling onto the road, resulting in fatal injuries. Following the accident, the e-rickshaw driver fled the scene hastily.
The victim, identified as Akash Singh, aged 21 and a resident of Shaktinagar Chakka, met his untimely demise when his motorcycle collided with an e-rickshaw. CCTV footage installed on the bridge captured the sequence of events, laying bare the negligence of the e-rickshaw driver.
