Man clings to train for 290 km, caught red-handed in rolling test!

A man bizarrely traveled 290 km clinging to the underside of a train coach between the wheels, before being caught by officials during a routine rolling test.

The incident took place in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh, central India on December 26.

Visuals show a man hanging beneath the train’s bogie, between the wheels, lying on the trolley under the coach. He is later seen carefully sliding out, visibly inebriated, and stumbling slightly before standing.

According to reports, the man traveled 290 km from Itarsi to Jabalpur. During a routine under-gear inspection of the Danapur Express by C&W department staff, they were shocked to find the man lying under the S-4 coach. Stunned by the discovery, the employees immediately called the Railway Protection Force (RPF).

When RPF officers arrived, they pulled the man from under the carriage and took him into custody. While it’s unclear where the man is from or how he accessed the train’s trolley, he admitted to boarding the train at Itarsi. The RPF has apprehended him and filed a case. Further investigations are underway, with more details to emerge as the interrogation continues.
