Lucky man emerges unscathed after being hit by trailer truck in northern India
by ShravyaA man had a close shave with death after being hit by a speeding trailer truck in central India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place on April 30 near the Sultanpur Road of Munshiganj Kotwali area of Amethi district.
Visuals, caught on a CCTV camera, showed a speeding truck going out of control, crushing the bikes parked on the roadside, and also hitting a young man walking on the roadside. Luckily he narrowly escapes after being hit by the truck.
The visuals of the accident were captured on CCTV installed at a nearby house. After the incident, local people informed the police. As soon as the information was received, Munshiganj police reached the spot and took the driver into custody.
According to the reports, Munshiganj Station head officer (SHO), Shiv Narayan Singh said that the trailer went out of control and hit several vehicles. The truck driver has being detained and interrogated. The owner of the trailer has also been called by phone.
