Locals rescue woman after her car gets washed away in northern India

Locals came to the aid of a woman who was in her car when it got washed away in northern India’s Haryana.
The incident happened in Panchkula district on June 25.
Visuals showed the car being trapped in the raging waters as locals held on with the help of a rope. One of them was seen holding on to the car as he was supported with the help of a rope that others at a distance had tightly grabbed onto. The locals were then seen taking the woman from the car as the water struck the vehicle ferociously, making it difficult for them to even stand still. The raging waters hit the car but the locals didn’t give up as they held on tightly to the rope and saved the woman amidst all odds.
According to a report, the woman had visited the temple in Kharak Mangoli and parked her car by the river. When she got in, the water level rose and her vehicle was washed away in a flash flood. The locals saved her and she was taken to a hospital. This comes after heavy rainfall lashed the area on June 25.
