Locals rescue travellers and car from floodwaters in southern India

In a dramatic rescue, locals of southern India’s Telangana saved a car and its passengers from being swept away by floodwaters caused by heavy rains.
The incident took place at Mallepally Village, Ootkuru Mandal, Makthal Constituency, Mahaboobnagar District on August 31.
Visuals showed in a flooded area, a car was trapped with several people inside. The vehicle was surrounded by rising water, creating a perilous situation for those inside.
