Local rescuers save cow from well near temple in central India

A cow that had accidentally fallen into a well in central India’s Maharashtra was safely rescued by a dedicated team of local volunteers. The rescue operation was led by Gaurav Ralhi Mishra, founder of Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan.

The incident took place at Purani Basti, near Durga Temple in Shahdol district on September 27.

Visuals showed a team of rescuers was present at the scene where a cow had fallen into a well. Using ropes, they carefully pulled the cow up to safety. The process was delicate, with the rescuers working together to ensure the cow’s well-being as it was lifted from the well. Surrounding the scene, a crowd of onlookers residents from nearby areas gathered to watch the rescue unfold, anxiously observing as the team worked to bring the cow to a safe place. The air was filled with a mix of tension and hope as the operation took place.

In a remarkable rescue operation, a cow that had fallen into a well was safely brought out on September 27, 2024. The incident occurred around 12:38 PM and by 12:56 PM, the cow was successfully rescued.

 

 

Gaurav Ralhi Mishra, founder of the Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan informed Newslion that with the crucial support of dedicated volunteers including Sarthak Mishra, Prakash Sen, Pappu Chacha, and Utkarsh Awasthi they successfully saved the cow. Their coordinated efforts ensured the safe retrieval of the cow, which was in a perilous situation.

 

 

Mishra and his team, known for their continuous efforts towards cow protection, acted swiftly upon receiving information about the cow in distress. They carefully worked to ensure that the animal was unharmed while being lifted from the well. The Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to cow welfare, with this rescue adding to their list of successful operations.

The locals of the area expressed their gratitude for the prompt actions of the volunteers, praising the Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan for their dedication and service.
