Footage shows a halted train about to depart when the man runs to board it. He steps onto the train with one leg but loses his balance and falls onto the platform. Passengers inside the train try to help him but fail. He then lies on the floor with his legs trapped in the gap between the platform and the moving train. An RPF officer nearby rushes toward him, pulls him to safety, and checks on him. The man holds his head in pain as the officer helps him stand up.
Later, the officer makes him sit on a bench and examines his head for injuries. Other passengers gather around, and one of them offers him water. The officer then makes a call to the authorities while the man rubs his head to ease the pain.
Speaking to Newslions, Bhana Ram Jakhar of the Railway Protection Force at Churchgate Railway Station, Mumbai, stated that the injured man was identified as 28-year-old Raju Bheelu Bhuria, who was saved by on-duty constable Amarpal. Raju sustained minor head injuries and received first aid. After a few moments, he recovered and left the station, thanking Amarpal for saving his life.
