Leopard terrorizes residential area in western India, locals demand action
Panic gripped a residential community as a leopard prowled the area, preying on livestock and pets in western India’s Maharashtra.
The incident took place at the Keshav Complex in Bhayander in Mumbai on April 21.
Visuals showed the leopard entered a house and made the hen its prey. It caught the hen in its jaws and started to leave.
In the CCTV footage, you can see the leopard entering and searching for prey. Eventually, it spots the hen and attacks it. The leopard catches the hen and leaves. All this was captured by the CCTV camera installed on the house’s veranda. When asked about this incident, the homeowners mentioned that for the past few days, this leopard has been making several hens and dogs its prey.
Meanwhile, incidents of such attacks by wild animals have been occurring frequently. These terrifying incidents happen at various places, instilling fear in people’s minds.
