In a shocking incident, a leopard was caught on CCTV wandering through a residential area in northern India’s Tamil Nadu, causing panic among the residents.

The incident took place at Devar Oasis locality in Kudalur, which is part of the Nilgiris district and the video went viral on September 13.

Visuals showed at 4 AM, a leopard was casually strolling through a residential area, moving with ease and grace in the early morning stillness. Its sleek, powerful body blended into the quiet streets, creating an eerie yet majestic presence as it roamed freely through the neighborhood, seemingly unbothered by its surroundings.

Residents of the Devar Oasis woke up to a startling sight as CCTV footage captured a leopard walking through their neighborhood in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred at around 4 AM, creating an atmosphere of fear and anxiety among the locals. The big cat was seen strolling through the streets of the residential area, raising concerns about the safety of people in the vicinity.

Local wildlife officials are expected to conduct a survey to track the movement of the animal and take necessary actions to relocate it safely.
