Leopard spotted at airstrip in central India amid ongoing sightings
A leopard was sighted late last night at an airstrip in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, heightening concerns as the big cat has been seen roaming various parts of the town for the past month.
The incident took place in Shivpuri district on October 3.
Visuals showed in the darkness of the night, the leopard prowled stealthily behind the bushes, its form blending with the shadows, as it moved with grace and caution, barely visible in the dense foliage.
Last night, around 11 PM, a leopard was spotted near the airstrip in Shivpuri. This is not the first time the animal has made an appearance; it has been sighted at several locations throughout the town over the last month. These include the Karwala Bridge and other public areas, leading to heightened concerns among residents. Due to the frequent sightings, venturing out at night has become increasingly risky for the locals.
Despite the efforts of the forest department, the leopard remains elusive, evading capture. Authorities have been working diligently to track and capture the animal, but it continues to roam freely, raising safety concerns for the town’s residents.
