In a dramatic event in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a leopard was captured in a cage set up by the forest department after it was spotted roaring angrily inside.

The incident took place in Haldaur village, Bijnor district the video went viral on September 7.

Visuals showed the leopard trapped and roaring fiercely in the confined space of the cage, trying to escape. The footage captured the animal’s distress and attempts to break free, with officials outlining the steps taken to ensure its safe capture and relocation.

According to reports, this leopard is believed to be the same one previously seen attacking people in the area. The capture was part of an ongoing effort by the forest department to address wildlife-human conflicts in the region.
