Leopard intrudes garden in northern India, dog escapes jaws of danger
In a startling incident in northern India’s Rajasthan, a leopard attacked a pet dog in the garden of a house, sparking panic among the residents.
The incident took place in a house of Sunrise Valley, located in the Mount Abu hill station of Sirohi district on November 15.
Visuals showed a black Labrador Retriever strolling in the garden when the leopard leapt over the boundary wall and pounced on the dog. The big cat was seen gripping the canine by its neck as the dog struggled to escape. Hearing the dog’s howls, a woman rushed out of the house, screaming. Startled by her presence, the leopard released the dog and fled. The dog then followed the woman back into the house.
According to reports, the house, owned by Mala Kumari, is used as a paying guest accommodation. The incident has raised serious safety concerns among local residents, who fear for the safety of their pets and families.
