Leopard cubs rescued after they fell into pit in cowshed in central India
Two leopard cubs were rescued by the forest department after they had fallen into a pit inside a cowshed in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
This incident happened in Nisarpur village of Pansemal forest range on April 3.
Visuals showed the leopard cubs inside of the pit where they had accidentally fallen into. Upon receiving information about this incident, a rescue team from the forest department in Indore rushed to the spot. The officials were seen laying a net over the pit where the leopard cubs had fallen into. The officials also took out a cage in which these cubs would be put into later on. The two cubs were captured and put into the cage. One of them was seen sipping water from a bowl inside the cage.
As per a report, ranger Jeevan Polaya, the forest department team, police station-in-charge and other administrative officials reached the spot after getting to know about this. SDO Lahari, Deputy Ranger Raju Patil, Field Inspectorate Assistant Kailash Dawar were the other officials present at the spot.
