Landslide wreaks havoc at village in northern India

A construction beneath a hilly area was reduced to debris and dust after a landslide took place, in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir.

This happened in Chakrara village of Mandi tehsil in Poonch district on July 8.

Visuals showed the land crumbling down the hilly area. The rocks rained down the hilly area and landed on top of what seemed like a warehouse. The weight of all the debris from the landslide was too much for the building to take as it crumbled down too after the rocks fell on it. Soon in a matter of seconds, the whole building was reduced to nothing but dust. Cars were seen passing by the road when this happened and fortunately, no one was seen getting hurt in this incident.
