A kitten was rescued by members of the Atal Kamdhenu Gausevak Sansthan, a local organisation after it had fallen into a well in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
This incident took place in Nigam Colony of Shahdol district on April 30.
Visuals showed the rescue operation to save the kitten. The little animal seemed pretty distressed and cried out from inside the well as efforts to save it were on. The rescuers initially lowered a bucket tied with a rope for the kitten to hop inside and be pulled out. But the feline didn’t get into the bucket, no matter how much the rescuers tried. The kitten moved about the whole area inside the dry well and the bucket too followed it but the animal just wouldn’t get in.
Later on, the rescuers tied a rope around the kitten’s body and lifted it up from the well with the help of a pipe. The rescue operation, which began at 9:47 pm IST (Indian Standard Time) was over by 10:05 pm. The rescuers behind this successful operation were named Prakash Sen and Sagar Jaiswal.
