A cop fed water to a thirsty monkey, helping it survive the scorching heat in western India’s Maharashtra.
The incident took place on March 31 in the Malshej Ghat region, located in the Thane district.
Visuals feature the cop offering water to the monkey, which stands on its legs and grabs the bottle. The official patiently waits while the primate quenches its thirst in the scorching heat.
The cop, identified as Sanjay Ghude, started this initiative where he carried water bottles to help the venturing animals like monkeys, cats, and dogs.
Ghude spent two years working in the region and started the initiative after keenly observing the behavioral patterns of the stray animals.
