Inferno erupts: Residents battle flames alone after fire brigade delay

The incident took place in Nishad Colony, located in the Sarasaiyaghat area of Kanpur district on December 14.
The visual shows the fire burning like firecrackers. People, including women and children, are trying to extinguish the fire by throwing water. Eventually, they successfully control the fire.
According to reports, despite immediate efforts by locals to inform the fire department, the fire brigade team failed to arrive at the scene in time. This delay left the residents grappling with the flames for hours, using makeshift methods to control the fire and prevent its spread.
