Individual rescued from well in eastern India, emergency team swiftly responds
In a dramatic incident in eastern India’s Odisha, an individual fell into a well and was promptly rescued by the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) team.
The incident took place in Mayurbhanj district on November 4.
Visuals showed the rescue effort, showing the man being pulled from the well using ropes and rescue techniques. As he emerged from the depths, a rescue official followed closely behind, providing the necessary assistance and encouragement.
According to reports, a resident of Kuruliya village alerted authorities by calling 112, reporting the incident. ERSS officials quickly assessed the situation and contacted the Karanjia fire service for support. The fire team arrived promptly at the scene and successfully carried out the rescue, arranging for the individual to be taken to a medical facility for further evaluation.
