Indian National Disaster Response Force rescues sick woman in western India amid floods

Heavy rains in western India’s Gujarat caused severe flooding, blocking roads and creating hazardous conditions.
The incident took place in Muliyasa Village, Keshod Taluka, Junagadh District on July 19.
Visuals showed how the heavy rains have flooded the region and the woman that was rescued by the rescue team on a stretcher taken in an ambulance to the hospital.
Speaking to Newslions Media, NDRF, Vadodara, Gujarat Mr. Anupam mentioned in response to an emergency call from local officials, the 6th Battalion of India’s National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) mobilized to rescue a critically ill woman.
The NDRF team departed their base at 6:45 PM and reached the village at 7:10 PM. After navigating through challenging conditions, they successfully rescued the woman and transported her to safety in an ambulance by 7:30 PM. This operation highlights the NDRF’s critical role in responding to natural disasters and providing timely aid.
