Indian group holds prayer ceremony for Donald Trump after assassination attempt in northern India

Following a recent assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump, the Hindu Sena in northern India’s New Delhi conducted a traditional ‘hawan’ ceremony for his long life and well-being.
The incident took place at Maa Baglamukhi Shanti Peeth in Dilshad Garden, Delhi on July 16.
Visuals showed how the priest was chanting mantras(prayers) while holding Doinald Trump’s poster with ‘Long Live Trump’ slogan on it.
According to reports, as a gesture of solidarity, members of the Hindu Sena performed the Mahamrityunjay Japa Havan Yagya, chanting the sacred Mahamrityunjay mantra 1.25 lakh times. This ritual is believed to have protective and healing properties. A spokesperson for the group expressed their deep concern for Trump’s health and safety, emphasizing the need for divine intervention to shield him from further harm.
This unique ceremony highlights the admiration and support Trump has garnered among some groups in India, who view him as a significant global leader.
