Indian Air Force soldier collapses during Air Force event in southern India

The incident took place at Tambaram Air Force Station in Chennai city on October 8.
Visuals showed the soldier being carried away on a stretcher while other soldiers stood in solidarity, enduring the intense heat under the blazing sun.
According to reports, this incident followed another tragedy on October 6, when five people who attended a mega air show at Marina Beach in the city died due to the extreme heat in Tamil Nadu’s capital city. The consecutive mishaps raised concerns about the planning of events under harsh weather conditions, particularly in Chennai, where temperatures had been soaring.
