In a humorous incident in eastern India’s Jharkhand, students launched a plastic dustbin into the air using a firecracker, adding a unique twist to their Diwali celebrations.

The incident took place in IIT Dhanbad of Dhanbad district and the video went viral on November 3.


Visuals showed a group of students in the hostel courtyard, where they had devised a makeshift “rocket launcher” with an overturned dustbin and a firecracker underneath. As the crowd gathered, anticipation filled the air, and with a loud blast, the dustbin soared up to the fourth floor, eliciting cheers from the delighted students.
