Horrific moment car falls off ledge, lands on another vehicle in northeastern India

by Komal KashyapA car was seen falling off a ledge on another vehicle in northeastern India’s Sikkim.
The incident took place at Gangtok Road in the Namchi district on June 21.
Visuals showed a car tumbling down a winding mountain on another four-wheeler that was coming from somewhere. There were two cars at the spot and while one had a narrow escape, the other got hit by the tumbling car.
Speaking to Newslions, Sub Inspector Sawan said that Suraj Rai, the driver of the car that fell from the ledge, succumbed to his injuries at District Hospital, while the taxi driver, Nim Sang Sherpa, sustained minor injuries and is under medical supervision at present.
A case has been registered under sections 279 and 304A of the Indian Penal Code.
