Horrendous assault occurs at private hospital in northern India as men attack security guards
by ShravyaIn a disturbing incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh where two men violently assaulted security guards at a private hospital.
The incident took place at Jaypee Hospital in Noida city on September 17.
Visuals showed two men aggressively confronting the male guard near a lift, pushing him and then both starting to hit him. Despite the intervention of a female guard and efforts from other staff and passers-by, the assault continued.
According to reports, the arrested individuals were identified as Akshay Sehgal (33) from Delhi and his cousin Vaibhav Sehgal (27) from Palm Tower, Sector 108, Noida. Manish Kumar Mishra, the additional deputy commissioner of police, revealed that the attack occurred around 8 PM on Tuesday. The Sehgal cousins had come to visit a relative admitted to the hospital but lacked the required attendant pass. Their insistence on access led to a confrontation with the security guards, culminating in the violent incident.
