High-speed car crashes into pottery shop in northern India, one injured

A high-speed car lost control and crashed into a pottery shop in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, injuring one customer.
The incident took place at main market area of Surajpur in Greater Noida on November 1.
Visuals showed a young man browsing items in the shop when the speeding Hyundai i10 careened into the store. The video clearly captures the moment of impact, as onlookers gathered to witness the aftermath. While many attempted to help the injured, the car’s door remained stuck, making rescue efforts challenging.
According to reports, eyewitnesses reported that the impact injured a customer who was present at the store, leading bystanders to rush him to the hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, the incident did not result in severe injuries to the shopkeeper or other customers. The officer in charge of the Surajpur police station, Anil Kumar, stated that the vehicle was being driven by some mechanics when it lost control. He reported that only the occupants of the car sustained minor injuries, and no formal complaints had been filed. However, he assured that any complaints received would be taken seriously and investigated further.
The incident has raised concerns over speeding in the area, highlighting the need for stricter traffic regulations to prevent such accidents in the future.
