The incident took place in Kanpur city on August 17.
Visuals captured the severe rainfall that led to the traffic system collapse, showing traffic police personnel braving the downpour to restore order. Officers TI Akhilesh Sharma and TSI Pradeep Sharma were prominently featured guiding vehicles through the inundated streets to prevent further congestion.
According to reports, the Tatmil intersection was particularly affected, with severe traffic jams throughout the city. On Saturday evening, as Kanpur struggled with the downpour, Sharma and Sharma stood resolutely in the rain, ensuring smooth traffic flow. They continuously directed drivers and ran through the rain to keep traffic moving efficiently.
