In a dramatic turn of events, a young man risked his life to rescue a deer trapped in floodwaters in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

The incident occurred in the Garra river near Sadi Block area of Hardoi district and the video went viral on July 18.

Visuals captured a local resident who courageously leaped into the floodwaters and, after significant effort, successfully rescued the deer.

According to villagers, the deer was struggling in the floodwaters of a bird sanctuary area. Despite numerous attempts to escape, the deer remained trapped. Kamlesh’s heroic actions helped ensure the animal’s safety, and the deer was eventually taken to a nearby forest area.
