Heroic rescue! RPF constable saves man from near fall while boarding train in western India
In a life-saving incident in western India’s Gujarat, an RPF constable rescued a man who slipped while boarding a moving train.
The incident took place at Vapi Railway Station in Valsad district on October 3.
Visuals showed the man running towards the train as it moved slowly, attempting to board. As he fell onto the platform, he narrowly missed falling between the moving train and the platform edge. A Railway Police Force constable stationed nearby acted quickly and pulled the man to safety, preventing a potential tragedy.
According to reports, the incident occurred at 5 PM when Alpesh Chauhan, a passenger, slipped while trying to board the Dahanu Express heading to Ahmedabad. Railway Police Constable Yogesh Jagubhai, who was nearby, reacted immediately, saving Chauhan’s life. The video of the incident has gone viral, receiving praise for the swift actions of Gujarat Police and RPF officers involved.
