Heroic rescue: Firefighters save dog stuck on ledge in northern India
In a recent incident in northern India’s Uttarakhand, a dog was rescued from the 6th-floor ledge.
The incident took place in the Metropolis Residential Society of Udham Singh Nagar district on July 4.
Visuals showed the dog being cheerful and joyous after the rescue, with the rescuers also looking happy as they carefully brought the dog down by the lift.

Speaking to Newslions, the Chief Fire Officer of Udham Singh Nagar Ishan Kataria stated that a dog accidentally became stuck on the ledge of the 6th floor of Metropolis Residential Society. Upon receiving the information, the rescue team promptly headed to the scene. Upon arrival, they observed that the dog was indeed trapped on the 6th-floor ledge of the DTPL building in Metropolis City. After considerable effort, the rescue team successfully freed the dog from the ledge.

According to reports, the personnel involved in this operation included LFM Hari Singh Gusain, DVR Girish Bisht, FM Bhagwat Singh, Amit Bhatt, Daya Kishan, Anjali, Aarti, Garima, and S. Ch Shyam Prakash.
