The incident took place at Veerangana Laxmibai Railway Station of Jhansi district and the video went viral on September 11.
Visuals showed the man stranded under the train on the railway tracks, as onlookers tried to assist him. The constable was seen pulling the man to safety, ensuring that he avoided a potentially fatal accident.
According to reports, the man had slipped while attempting to board the moving train and remained stuck on the tracks until the train came to a halt. The matter is currently under investigation.
