Heroic rescue at Railway station as officer saves passenger trapped by moving train
A man trapped between a moving train and the platform at a Railway Station miraculously escaped with his life thanks to the quick actions of a railway official.
The incident occurred at Platform No. 1 of Nagpur Railway Station in Nagpur district, Maharashtra on December 21.
The visual shows the train starting its journey. Three passengers tried to board the moving train, and one of them lost their footing, becoming stuck between the train and the platform, which pulled them a short distance.
Without hesitation immediately railway police officer sprinted toward the trapped passenger. In a brave and swift move, he pulled the man to safety, narrowly averting a major accident.
The Nagpur DRM Office’s Chief Commercial Inspector Mahesh Waghmare’s courageous act has been hailed as a miraculous save, and the Nagpur Division of Central Railway has launched a commendation for its heroic actions.
