In a daring act of bravery, locals rescue a truck driver trapped in a sinking dumper after it crashes into a river.

The incident took place at Kalisindh river on Indore-Betul highway in Madhya Pradesh, central India on December 6.

Visuals show the truck submerged in the river, with the driver trapped inside the cabin. Locals were seen approaching the dumper and opening the door of the driver’s seat, where the driver was stuck. They managed to pull the driver out, bringing him to safety. The driver, who appeared unconscious, was carried to safety by the heroic efforts of the locals.

According to reports, the sand dumper had plunged into the river with the driver inside. However, nearby locals acted swiftly, disregarding the risks and dangers, to rescue him. The driver was successfully pulled to safety and promptly taken to hospital for urgent medical attention.
