A tragic helicopter crash occurred in the Shivpuri National Park near Nuwakot, Kathmandu, resulting in the deaths of all five individuals on board, including four Chinese nationals.

 

The incident took place at Shivpuri National Park, Ward Number 7, Shivpuri Rural Municipality, Nuwakot District on August 7.

Visuals showed the airplane crash resulted in a dramatic scene. The aircraft, after crashing, landed in a dense jungle and was severely damaged. The plane was broken into several pieces, and its fuselage lay scattered amidst the thick undergrowth. The windows and other parts of the aircraft were shattered, with debris strewn across the forest floor. The wreckage was deeply entangled in the surrounding vegetation, making the sight both chaotic and somber.

 

 A helicopter operated by Air Dynasty crashed in the Shivpuri National Park area of Nuwakot, located near Kathmandu. The helicopter, which took off from Tribhuvan International Airport at 1:54 PM local time, was en route to Syabrubesi. The crash resulted in the deaths of all five passengers, including four Chinese tourists.

 

According to Nepal Police, the helicopter lost contact with the ground just three minutes after takeoff. Emergency services responded promptly, and rescue operations were conducted at the crash site. The bodies of the deceased—two men, one woman, and the pilot—were recovered from the scene. The identity of one individual remains unknown due to severe burns.

 

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash while expressing condolences to the victims’ families.
