A scooter was carried away by torrential downpours that turned streets into rivers in western India’s Maharashtra.
This incident occurred in Pune district on June 4.
Visuals showed a scooter floating in the water while someone tried to catch it. Commuters faced severe traffic congestion, with vehicles submerged and people stuck for over three hours.
According to the reports the IMD forecast thunderstorms and rain for Pune from June 4 to 6, followed by cloudy skies and temperatures between 23°C and 34°C from June 7 to June 10, suggesting a stable temperature trend with varying precipitation levels. The IMD’s forecast predicts thunderous weather with scattered rainfall until June 6, along with a decrease in daytime temperatures.
