Heavy rains in southern India sweep away cattle in flooded stream
In a rare and crazy occurence in southern India’s Telengana, heavy rains caused a stream called Peddavagu to flood, sweeping away scores of cattle.
The incident took place in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on June 28.
Visuals showed the cows being swept away by the heavy flow flood water but still managing to swim through the harsh conditions to reach the shore.
According to reports the animals, including cows, bullocks, and buffaloes, were crossing an under-construction bridge when the sudden surge occurred. Despite being carried away by the floodwaters, the cattle managed to swim ashore approximately 3 kilometers downstream, providing relief to concerned villagers.
