A severe downpour early this morning has wreaked havoc in a town of northeastern India’s Assam causing a massive tree to fall onto a parked car.
The incident took place in Chowkidinghee area, Dibrugarh town on June 13.
Visuals showed a massive tree was uprooted by the heavy rainfall and fell onto a parked car, severely damaging it.
According to reports, the intense rain caused significant flooding in multiple areas, leading to substantial disruptions. This incident also blocked the important Convoy Road for a period of time.
Emergency services were promptly deployed to manage the situation and clear the roads. Local authorities have urged residents to remain cautious and avoid traveling in affected areas.
