Heartwarming! Firefighters rescue kitten from PVC pipe in southern India

A kitten found itself in a precarious situation in southern India’s Kerala and was rescued by fire station members of Fire Station Perambra.

The incident took place at Nochad Panchayath, Kalpathur, Calicut District on August 7.

Visuals showed the feline had accidentally stuck its neck inside a PVC pipe, leaving it unable to free itself. Using a cutter, they carefully extricated the kitten from the pipe, ensuring it was unharmed.

Speaking to Newslions, Fireman Rafeek Kavil mentioned that the fire department along with the team rescued the kitten and Assistant Station Officer P C Preman stated that two girls came in the auto with a kitten that was stuck in a PVC pipe asking for help around 10:30 am at the fire station.

The Fire and Rescue Station team from Perambra swiftly responded to the incident and was successful.
