Heartwarming! Fire Officials save puppies stranded in flooded house as rain batters southern India
As rain continues to batter southern India’s Tamil Nadu, a heartwarming development has come to the fore of rescue officials coming to the aid of puppies who were stranded in a flooded house.
This incident happened at Kumaran Nagar in Red Hills, Chennai on November 30.
Visuals showed the fire officials bringing the puppies to safety. The little dogs were put inside a bucket and it was brought to their boat with the whole being flooded heavily.
Chennai has been receiving a lot of rainfall in the past few days and this incident, as per a report, happened when the rescuers, who were already involved in relief work, heard the noise of the little animals from inside a house. They then brought out the puppies safely and rescued them. The rescue operation took place at 11:00 am.
Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in the city till December 4.
