Heartbroken Dog Parent’s Plea: ‘Bring Him Back to Life

The heartbreaking visuals showed the family crying and shouting at the staff that echoed all over the hospital, asking them to bring the pet back to life. A family member confronted the staff, saying that they broke the family’s trust. The family wailed in despair, questioning what the staff had done to the pet.
An 11-year-old male Pomeranian was left at Sanchu Animal Hospital located in southern India’s Tamilnadu in Coimbatore city. The owner, G Sarath booked a day care, paying Rs.1200, and left his pet in the hospital’s boarding facility. When they returned to the hospital, the pet was found dead with blood in its mouth.
According to the source, the owner has filed a case against the hospital under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, citing negligence and suspicion. He added that the hospital does not have enough manpower to handle all the animals.
After the investigation, police said the alleged cause of death is strangulation. The autopsy was carried out by the district animal husbandry department. The dog was later buried at the graveyard.
