In a devastating incident in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir, a head-on collision between two vehicles resulted in the tragic loss of two young students and injuries to a third.

The incident took place in the Tengpora area, Srinagar district on November 14.

Visuals showed the moment a Mahindra Thar collided head-on with a stationary tipper on a busy road, capturing the shocking impact within seconds.
According to reports, all three individuals in the Thar were students. The deceased have been identified as Hammad, from Lal Bazar, and Azeem, from Sanat Nagar, while the injured student, Mohammad Eissa Ganie from Nowshera, was rushed for urgent medical care. Police have since taken cognizance of the incident.

Commenting on the tragic event, SSP Traffic Srinagar, Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, expressed deep sorrow, urging parents to exercise responsibility by not allowing underage individuals to operate vehicles, a practice prohibited by law. “We mourn the loss of two young boys, and this incident serves as a stark reminder for parents to prevent minors from driving,” Shah said.
